Oh My Baby! (OMB) provides self-pay diagnostic OB/GYN ultrasounds in Houston, performed by an ARDMS-registered sonographer. With more than a decade of experience in maternal-fetal medicine, our sonographer brings extensive clinical expertise to every exam. Each study is conducted in accordance with established medical guidelines to ensure accurate and reliable results.

Diagnostics

Radiologist Review & Reporting

  • All diagnostic imaging exams are interpreted by a board-certified radiologist. Reports are generally available within 24 hours.

Self-Pay & Insurance Information

​

  • All services are self-pay. We do not accept insurance plans.

  • Self-pay options may be helpful for families without insurance, those with high-deductible plans, or individuals who prefer to avoid hospital-based imaging settings.

  • Itemized receipts are available for submission to your insurance provider for possible reimbursement (reimbursement is not guaranteed).

  • We do accept HSA and FSA payments.

 

Twins or multiple gestations are subject to an additional charge.

 

Clinical Standards & Imaging Guidelines

 

  • Our diagnostic exams follow the guidelines established by the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM). Each study is conducted in accordance with recognized clinical standards.

 

Sonographer Credentials & Certifications

 

  • Registered with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) since 2011

  • Registries include OB/GYN, Fetal Echocardiography, and Abdomen

  • Certified in Nuchal Translucency, Nasal Bone, and CLEAR

Ultrasound Services

Anchor 1

OB 1st Trimester

  • 6–14 weeks pregnant

  • Evaluates the baby, uterus, and ovaries

  • Establishes the due date

  • Evaluates intrauterine pregnancy and surveys for ectopic pregnancy

  • Performed transabdominally and/or transvaginally

OB 2nd or 3rd Trimester (Anatomy Scan)

  • 19–24 weeks is ideal (later gestational ages are possible, but may result in more limited visualization)

  • Performs a detailed survey of fetal position, organs, spine, placenta, heart rate, amniotic fluid index (AFI), and measurements for growth and estimated weight

  • Gender determination is available upon request

OB Follow-Up

  • Fetal measurements and estimated fetal weight are not included (Fetal Growth Evaluation includes these)

  • Evaluates fetal heart rate, fetal and placental position, and amniotic fluid index (AFI)

Fetal Biophysical Profile (BPP)

  • 3rd trimester ultrasound to assess fetal well-being

  • A score out of 8 is assigned based on fetal breathing (2), fine movements (2), gross movements (2), and the presence of a 2 cm pocket of amniotic fluid (2)

Fertility Monitoring

  • Transvaginal ultrasound

  • Evaluates endometrial appearance and thickness

  • Measures the right and left ovarian follicles

  • Provides total follicle count for each ovary

Other:
 

  • Dopplers

  • Cervical lengths

  • Fetal echocardiograms

  • Transvaginal ultrasounds

OBSTETRIC ULTRASOUNDS
